Missions in Christ adheres to ALL fundamental Christian beliefs:

The infallible Word of God

2 Tim 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The Holy Trinity

God in three persons.  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  Genesis 1:1-3  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.

Matt 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ

Our Lord Jesus Christ is God in the form of the Son as the scriptures declare:

His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:31-35)

His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26, 1 Peter 2:22)

His miracles (Acts 2:22, 10:38)

His substitutionary work on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:3, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6, Luke 24:39, 1 Corinthians 15:4)

His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9-11, Acts 2:33, Philippians 2:9-11, Hebrews 1:3)

Jesus has two natures: divine and human (Col. 2-9; 1 Tim. 2-5)

The baptism in the Holy Spirit

All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of our Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This was the normal experience of all in the early church.  With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses to strengthen the church (Lk. 24:49; Acts 1: 4,8; 1 Co. 12: 1-31).

With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (Jn. 7:37; Acts 4:8), a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:34; Hebrews 12:28), and intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42), a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost (Mk. 16:20).

The fall of man

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let us create man in our image, after our likeness.”  However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6, Romans 5: 12-19)

The salvation of man

Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.  Acts 4:12  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Eph 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Salvation is in three tenses:

The Christian has been saved from the guilt and penalty of sin (Lk. 7:50; 1 Co. 1:18; 2 Co. 2:15; Eph. 2:5,8; 2 Ti. 1:9) and is safe.

The Christian is being saved from the habit and dominion of sin (Ro. 6:14; 8:2; 2 Co. 3:18; Gal. 2:19-20; Php. 1:19; 2:12-13; 2 Th. 2:13)

The Christian will be saved at the Lord’s return, from the bodily infirmities that are the result of sin and God’s curse upon the sinful world (Ro. 8:18-25; 1 Co. 15:42-58) and brought into entire conformity to Christ (Ro. 13:11; Heb. 10:36; 1 Pe. 1:5; 1 Jn. 3:2)

The ordinations of the church

Baptism in water.  The ordination of baptism by immersion is commanded in the scriptures.  All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized.  Thus, they declare to the world that they died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Mt. 28:19, Mk. 16:16, Acts 10:47, Romans 6:4)

Holy Communion.  The Lord’s supper, consisting of the elements (bread and fruit of the vine) is the symbol expressing our sharing in the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 1:4); memorial of His suffering and death (1 Co. 11:26); Eph 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Co. 11:26)

God’s plan for financial stewardship

Mal 3:10-12 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit," says the LORD Almighty.

12 "Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land," says the LORD Almighty.  2 Cor. 9:6-7 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Blessed hope

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their rapture together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the blessed hope of the church (1 Th. 4:16, Rms. 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Co. 15:51-52).

Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ

The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years. (Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27-30; Rev. 1:7; 19:11-14; 20:26-27).  This Millennial reign will bring the salvation of the nation Israel (Ezekiel 37:21-22; Zephaniah 3:19-20; Romans 11:26-27).  And the establishment of universal peace (Isaiah 11:6-9; Psalm 72:3-8; Micah 4:3-4).

The final judgment

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works.  Whosoever is not found  in the Lambs book of life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of burning sulfur, which is the second death (Mat. 25:46; Mk. 9:43-48; Rev. 19:20, 20:11-15; 21:8).

The New Heavens and the New Earth

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (2 Pet. 3;13; Rev. 21:22).
